Gloucestershire IVC (Inter-Varsity Club) is a social and sports activity club in Gloucestershire. We also belong to the national IVC (See AIVC). We have over 80 members from a wide selection of backgrounds and a wide age range. As well as the regular pub evenings every Tuesday, the members organise events - parties, cinema, sports, theatre visits, meals, walks - in fact anything that will gather a crowd.

Typical Events

Each month a programme of events is published. These events are arranged by the members for the members. All members are encouraged to organise a couple of events each year. The sort of activities organised include live bands, stand up comedy, theatre, cinema, eating out, sports activities, outdoor pursuits, days out, weekends away and much more.

Regular Events

The following events are held every week. Although, there may be interruptions at certain times throughout the year, such as holiday periods. On Monday there's Ceroc, Tuesday is our weekly club night and there's badminton on a Thursday.

Annual Events

There are a few large events arranged every year. These events are typically organised by a small group of people as they take a little more effort than normal events. Each year we have a Summer Ball, AGM in September, Christmas Dinner Dance and New Years Eve Party.
